....... Is it really so bad?... I mean plex bought fleets are everywhere already.... At least this way you can see them...and kill them.
I dunno.. but I think I would get a huge sense of satisfaction...if I podded a guy in a monocle...then moments later his avatar had no monocle... to bad that scenario isn't the case though.
All items in game should be destructible I think. |

whats the problem?...eve isn't a solo game. I would like a rmt ship on a km. I agree that whatever the player is wearing should be on the km though.
epic lulz when you calculate that you killed a 150 dollar pod.
Yeah, you BUY ships/guns/ammo that were BUILT by PLAYERS. They don't magically appear out of thin air.
Exactly....what a target that would be.... you would be advertising you a buy your fun. Just how long do you think a ""specialty ship would last"?
and what a kill mail. hahahahaha I just podded a guy worth 200 dollars.
Trust me man..the average eve player cant afford that crap, and that's a good thing. let the prices get crazy high.. it will keep them to a few in game. There is nothing in this game that cant be taken out with a group.

Originally by: Hyperforce99 Microtransactions for ships or other items directly from CCP is not the same as buying things with isk from other players.
Its similiar to what SOE did with Star Wars Galaxies by changing Jedi to be a status that had to be earned through a lot of work, to a actual starting class. a lot of players got ****ed about this instant gratification that they never got.
And that's not even taking into account the impact it would have on the market and the gameplay.
This is on the assumption that these items will be everywhere. With these prices I doubt that. also with SWG .. items were not lost forever. I would be ok with it ..as long as they would and could be destroyed.
Think about it...if you just dropped 300 dollars on a cruiser...would you actually fly it? People get suicided for much much much less every single day.

Most large bounties are put there by themselves already ...seeing something like " the mittanis" shattered monocle as loot would be hilarious.

Again... another idiot... with a fail logic... failing...
WHAT WE HAVE NOW: Player A buys PLEX > sells PLEX > gets ISK > buy a Ship from the market.
What happened here?
- Someone had to mine to get the minerals - Someone had to explore/pewpew to get the BPO - Someone had to research the BPO - Someone had to haul the minerals - Someone had to manufacture the minerals - Someone had to haul the ship - Someone had to trade the ship
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH YOUR MT Player A buys Aurum > buys a SHIP
- NOONE had to mine to get the minerals - NOONE had to explore/pewpew to get the BPO - NOONE had to research the BPO/BPC - NOONE had to haul the minerals - NOONE had to manufacture the minerals - NOONE had to haul the ship - NOONE had to trade the ship
You failed to understand EVE. GTFO
No, I think you fail .... in thinking EVERY one is going to buy this crap. CCP seed's the market ALL THE TIME and they infuse price controls ALL THE TIME...or didn't you know that.
The few who do..will be targets...as long as the items can be destroyed. That's why there's the AUR currency... As long as I can blow it up i'm cool with it. I can see the tears now.

Vanity items only, and destructible? Sure. It'd be hilarious to blow up a monocle. Ship skins that are destructible? Excellent.
Originally by: CCP One other service weĈre looking at is selling faction standings. We want to offer convenience for a price.
No.
Originally by: Soundwave Giving people small amounts of micro-currency for being loyal subscribers, or even as a reward for high level gameplay like taking sovereignty should be just as legitimate a part of the business model as charging players.
No.
Originally by: Soundwave I would like virtual goods sales in EVE. In fact, IĈd like to sell a lot more than vanity items.
No.
Originally by: CCP Not all virtual purchases will focus on customization: some will simply be new items, ammunition, ships, etc. that can be purchased outright.
No.
The difference between fleets bought by selling PLEX for isk and fleets bought by using just PLEX has already been clearly explained.
However, if it's still that confusing, remove PLEX and the predecessor GTC from the game. I'd rather see and blow up botters and farmers and macroers than have things go this direction.
No, its not confusing...and I do understand the argument...but my point is..if they want to make the items that expensive...it will mean very few actually can field it. All eve players are not rich, and do not wear 1000 dollar pants.
I do not think it would be the game breaker many are saying. Now..if they went for the full Rtard and forced us ALL to have to pay for everything...that would be the eve breaker.
faction Standings...agree 150% Linar
Ships that can be purchased outright..well, as long as the ships being purchased are obvious money ships... I think i'd quite enjoy popping a carebear flying one.
I think that would be the guy using them...the non confrontational carebear.
